Pillaging Education: Paying Reparations through Indoctrination

There is no easy way or round-a-bout way to convey the messages and ideas that will be discussed in this piece. This is a general disclaimer to always double check your sources, facts, and make independent informed decisions on your own accord.

America: home of the free

I’d like to begin by calling your attention to your home, your citizenship, your residence, domicile, whatever you call your home in the United States of America. I was born in the United States, specifically in Baltimore City. I was born on Tax Day, I was born a weighing just over 6lbs, and I was born free.

Key: I was born free.

There is a misconception amongst the public that they need to turn to the government for their freedom(s)...when that is simply not true. Therefore, I write this piece.

By implying that message – our freedom is granted by government, furnishes the government with the power to define our freedoms, limit, broaden, restrict, foreclose upon our freedoms – and all by way of subjective governmental discretion.

Personally, I do not care about what other people do if it doesn’t affect myself, my family, friends, people I care for, or the overall public at large. I do not care what your race, gender, or sexual preference is and honestly, it is not my business. However, when it is hurled at people that they must conform or abide by new rules, I tend to become a bit more curious.

Hypothetical

Would you say that you have a responsibility to make sure you do not offend or hurt my feelings – pertaining to any matter? For illustrative purposes, let’s use age as an example.
If I choose to identify myself as someone who is 75 years old, at the age of 32 – would that bother you? Well, rationally speaking, hopefully most people would answer no.
^ This is because who cares what I do in my life if it doesn’t affect your life, anyone else’s life, and doesn’t amount to illegality, fraud, crime, harms, etc.

Now, let's change the facts a bit –what if I said that I choose to identify as someone who is 75 years old, (we all clearly can tell I am not 75 – hopefully), and so it is obvious I am clearly lying or not being truthful about my age...are you bothered yet?

Let’s take it one step further, would it bother you if universities, schools, public places now began identifying their members, students, faculty, (and so on), by their age? While giving no ability to “opt in” or “opt out” of this identification?

You are just trying to live your life and get by the best you can, why must you now participate in this bullshit lie...solely on the basis of my subjective beliefs, (and perhaps a small group of others identifying as different ages).

Am I allowed to reap social security benefits at 30, because I believe in my head that I am 75? Is there any freedom in compelling legislatures, public universities, and forums to instill these same ideologies?

I can break it down simply, but I don’t want to offend anyone. The government cares about 1 thing and 1 thing only. The government.

The government doesn’t care about Roe v. Wade or a women’s right to an abortion, just for example. Now, I don’t speak for anyone but myself, perhaps some government officials do care. But ask yourself, why would the government care?

Unfortunately, the truth is: red or blue. it doesn't matter, you're just expected to pick a side and fight for it...while never looking up or asking why...it is all a construct to keep the public at each other's throats - why are we fighting about identity when we are infinite souls?

Distractors

I am not quite sure what the distraction is where now we are seeing gender and race and controversial topics thwarted into the public eye. However, I do believe it is a distraction from truth. As I find it laughable that the government would give a shit about my right to have an abortion or not.

Education Indoctrination & Access to Education

In one way or another, we all have been indoctrinated by our educational institutions. Who decides what curriculum to teach and when we are to learn these things? We don’t teach students how to come out of school with sufficient tools to make independent decisions (generally), and in how they choose to live their lives.

Our education system is a cyclical shit hole and used as a weapon to further radical ideologies, whether they be political, religious, secular, whatever it is, the authority in charge of that curriculum – thereby chooses the extent and level of education you are allowed to have. Not just the extent of the education, but also, your ability to access education...on your own accord, in your own time.

Let’s get real, most of what we read is purely speculative, subjective, and biased. You must be confident in making independent decisions for yourself to live out your life journey; I can’t rationalize why anyone would hand over these decisions to a governmental body. This is the crux of John Locke’s theory that we are all born with natural rights – “life, liberty, property,” for example, but Locke goes on to say that this is not an exclusive list, it may and will continue to go on because our rights are ever-expanding. So, why are we allowing these rights to be limited by a less than competent government body?

Access to education is very extremely limited and scarce. Finding both sides to a story is difficult and often hard to discern. Everything that is placed in the public eye is placed there for a reason. Many of our national news stations -- which I have not watched in ages -- (CNN, to MSNBC, to Fox) – all report the same thing, but just twist the facts to favor their storyline. Therefore, it is so important to always check multiple sources.

We have the responsibility to come to an informed idea or decision based on your independent judgment from the research and information you can find.

"My freedom ends where the freedom of others begins...

The school system follows the same principle as Plato's Allegory of the Cave. I would say it has just changed its name from the Allegory of the Cave to the Class" (théorie) at school."(Cave)
